The Union of Concerned Scientists invites you to a Science Network webinar on how government employees and academics can navigate the balance between their careers and being engaged science advocates.

The webinar will feature:
• Aradhna Tripati – director, Center for Diverse Leadership in Science; professor, University of California—Los Angeles
• Steve Sobieszczyk – earth scientist, United States Geological Survey (USGS); adjunct professor, Portland State University
• Joel Clement – climate whistleblower; former federal executive

Our presenters will talk about restrictions for government employees, ways they can inform discussions locally, and how academics can explore their own advocacy paths.
