Congratulations to Lauren Wagner for being selected for the Meridian Center Diplomacy Forum Travel Award! Lauren was selected to represent the National Science Policy Network’s Diplomacy Committee at the Meridian Center’s annual Diplomacy Forum on April 12, 2022. She was one of only two graduate students sponsored to attend the event alongside diplomats and eminent government and industry leaders!

The Diplomacy Forum is an annual diplomatic event held by the Meridian Center for Diplomatic Engagement. This year, the focus was on Science Diplomacy, specifically with the goal to “analy(ze) modern and future diplomacy in areas of limited sovereignty – the Arctic, the high seas, and outer space.” The day culminated with a networking reception that connected public and private sector professionals with rising diplomacy trainees. Read more about the event with the press release, and stream the keynote panels on the event page!
