ADvocacy: A Petition Against Neighborhood Drilling in LA

LA's Department of Regional Planning is in the process of updating its Title 22 Oil Well Ordinance for the first time in almost 40 years. This rule oversees oil drilling in most of unincorporated LA County, including active wells within 2500 feet from where UCLA students live. Numerous studies link close proximity to oil wells with asthma, heart disease, cancer, and more.

You can sign THIS PETITION to send an email to LA county Department of Regional Planning, and to opt in for updates from STAND LA, an organization against neighborhood drilling.
